But it all started as a bit of a joke when I tried to get an email account from a popular provider (oh okay, google, you know it's you) and of course, many other Amanda Woods' had come before me.
I wanted an easy to remember email, and was prepared to flip my name around and go with WoodsAmanda, or even experiment with full stops and initials. But no, when it came to "Why not try..." this was an actual suggestion from Google:
amanda.amandajwoods.woods04@gmail.com
What the?!
I love the 04 on the end. Are there really three other women who snapped up amanda.amandajwoods.woods@gmail before me?
As I fell about laughing at the idea, my flatmate shouted from the kitchen "you should put in TheAmandaWoods", and so I did.
It was available. It made me laugh even more. And so it stuck.
I've now named my Twitter account the same, and created this blog just to keep the blog name up The Amanda Woods' sleeve.
For now though, my blog ramblings will be found over in my first real blog, Adventures All Around.
